According to information courtesy of France Football via le10sport, Man City and Juventus have been boosted in their pursuit of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar with fellow competitors Paris-Saint Germain seemingly dropping out of the race for his signature.
Aouar, who started 23 Ligue 1 games before the French top flight’s untimely cancellation due to recent events, has reportedly been at the centre of interest from both City and Juventus as we search for David Silva’s potential future heir.
Should City sign Aouar to succeed Silva?
The club legend, departing at the end of the season, will arguably leave a gaping creative hole in midfield – with Aouar proving this campaign he has the credentials to fill his shoes.
