Dietmar Hamann labels Pep Guardiola's call to sell Gabriel Jesus 'a mistake' and warns Man City Erling Haaland's injury record could see them regret the Brazil star's Arsenal move

Manchester City have made a mistake in selling Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal, according to former player Dietmar Hamann.

The 25-year-old Brazilian made the £45million switch from City to the Gunners earlier this week and has completed his medical at the Emirates.

He is expected to put pen to paper on a five-year contract at Arsenal, as he looks to get regular starting time after failing to hold down a starting spot under Pep Guardiola.

Erling Haaland's arrival likely meant less game time for Jesus so he has moved to rivals Arsenal

But Hamann has warned that losing Jesus could be very costly for Guardiola and City, given the chequered fitness history of new arrival Erling Haaland.
