Former England goalkeeper David Seaman has told L'Equipe that criticism of Joe Hart is "unfair."
Hart, waiting to find a new club after has loan spell at Torino ended, was beaten twice by free kicks as England drew 2-2 in Scotland on Saturday.
Seaman said he believed Hart, who is out of favour at Manchester City, "deserves" to kickstart his career at "a good Premier League club."
The goalkeeper's uncertain future did not prevent England manager Gareth Southgate from picking him for Saturday's World Cup qualifier, in which he was beaten by two late Leigh Griffiths strikes.
