David Moyes says West Ham 'still have a lot of work to do' after losing their opening game of the 2022-2023 Premier League season 2-0 to Manchester City on Sunday.
Moyes says he is eager to freshen up his 'stale' squad after being 'completely outdone' by the reigning champions.
The West Ham manager also blamed injuries for their performance at the London stadium - claiming he 'couldn't do anything about that'.
Speaking after the game on Sunday afternoon, Moyes said: 'We need it and we need to freshen up a bit, we are a bit stale at the moment.
