Daniel Sturridge is set to resume his role as a Sky Sports pundit despite being issued an arrest warrant in Los Angeles.
The former England striker has not appeared on screen since the first Super Sunday of the Premier League season, even though Sky announced him as a star signing in the summer.
Mail Sport revealed last week that an arrest warrant had been issued for Sturridge after he failed to attend an LA court hearing last month over an alleged unpaid reward for finding his stolen dog.
However, Sky insist the 34-year-old’s absence has been down to availability issues rather than the ongoing civil lawsuit — and they expect him to be performing punditry duties again soon.
