Dani Alves insists Gabriel Jesus is as good as Brazil legend Ronaldo: 'He is already great and will get even better'

Dani Alves believes that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is as good as Brazilian Ronaldo.

The full-back sees similar determination in the 20-year-old as he did in his old national team team-mate Ronaldo, one of the greatest forwards to have played the game. Alves played with Ronaldo for five years before the latter retired from national team duty in 2011.

Jesus already has seven goals in 12 appearances for his country and will start against England at Wembley on Tuesday evening. Even at his tender age, Jesus has nine goals in 16 games for Pep Guardiola’s City and he has often kept Sergio Aguero out of the starting line-up.
