Chelsea punished Manchester City as goals from Erin Cuthbert, Melanie Leupolz and Bethany England sent the London Blues cruising to a 2-0 win in the FA Cup semi-final.
Manchester City were left decimated by their injury crisis and were left desperate for England international Ellie Roebuck or second-choice Karen Bardsley in goal as captain Steph Houghton and Steph Houghton, Fifa Best Women's Player Lucy Bronze were also sidelines.
City started out the stronger side but it was Chelsea who pulled ahead as Erin Cuthbert opened the scoring. From a corner, the ball fell to Cuthbert on the edge of the area and she smashed it home but third choice City keeper Karima Taieb knew she could have done more to keep it out.
