Chelsea are set to appoint Tom Glick to their new-look hierarchy following the recent departures of three of the club’s most prominent executives.
Glick, who was previously Manchester City’s chief commercial and operating officer, is to take on a senior boardroom role at Stamford Bridge under American owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
The anticipated appointment comes after three of former owner Roman Abramovich’s closest aides: Marina Granovskaia, Bruce Buck and Petr Cech left the club.
The three former Chelsea chiefs all played integral roles in the day-to-day running of the west London club and their exits have left a huge void in the club’s behind-the-scenes operation.
