The football academies of England had better brace themselves. This summer, the Red Bulls of Leipzig are planning a shopping spree.
After a remarkable first season in the Bundesliga, controversial East German side RB Leipzig are preparing for life in the Champions League next term. That means some summer spending, and at least some of that looks set to be done in England.
Recent reports suggest that Leipzig are lining up bids for both Manchester City's Jadon Sancho and Chelsea's Dominic Solanke. Both have represented England at youth level, both are considered to be among this country's most promising young stars.
