Pep Guardiola has cancelled Manchester City's press conference after recording an 'inconclusive' coronavirus test.
The 50-year-old is undergoing a second test but will not face the media today ahead of Sunday's trip to Newcastle United.
Guardiola travelled to Barcelona with sporting director Txiki Begiristain and coach Lorenzo Buenaventura to attend Sergio Aguero's announcement that he was retiring.
The City boss will not be at St James' Park at the weekend if a second test comes back positive and faces self-isolating ahead of the Christmas period.
Assistant manager Juanma Lillo will speak about the Newcastle match to the club's in-house media channels should Guardiola return a positive result.
