Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos is among Brazilian stars backing Gabriel Jesus to succeed at Manchester City.
Jesus made his debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday after finally completing his £27 million move from Palmeiras.
Former Arsenal midfielder Edu and ex-City players Elano and Robinho have also said they expect the 19-year-old, who has won six caps for Brazil, to shine at his new club.
Edu, who made more than 100 appearances for the Gunners, told Brazilian TV channel SporTV: "When he showed up in the Brazilian national team, it was possible to see that he will be a great, great player at the European level, as is already happening.
