MANCHESTER, England -- Pep Guardiola says Manchester City's Champions League group clash with Borussia Monchengladbach is a more important game than the Manchester derby.
City beat rivals Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday to maintain their 100 percent record to the season and open up a two-point gap at the top of the Premier League.
But Guardiola says it is too early in the season to have an impact in the title race and that it more important that they pick up three points in Tuesday's Group C clash with Monchengladbach.
As well as the Bundesliga side, City face Guardiola's old club Barcelona and Scottish champions Celtic in a potentially tricky group.
