Manchester City's Bernardo Silva will stay at the club past the transfer window, according to club official Manuel Estiarte.
Estiarte is part of Pep Guardiola's backroom staff and is the head of player support and protocol at the Citizens and has become the latest person at the club to rule out a transfer of the Portuguese international.
Silva has been continuously linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, with LaLiga side Barcelona one of the teams interested in capturing his signature.
However, Esiarte has joined Guardiola and co by ruling out a move and that he will be in action for the club against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League fixture tonight.
