Cash-strapped Barcelona may be in financial peril but that hasn't stopped them targeting two Premier League forwards in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Catalan giants' monetary woes are well documented but according to Mundo Deportivo they are lining up swoops for Manchester City's Ferran Torres and Manchester United's Edinson Cavani.
The Spanish outlet reports that newly-appointed manager Xavi has stated to Barca's hierarchy his desire for them to sign both next month - especially as the Spanish Super Cup takes place across Saudi Arabia on January 12-16.
Torres is of particular to Xavi as he wants a forward who 'opens up the pitch, is fast and a good finisher' - attributes that apply to the former.
