Barcelona 1-0 Atletico Madrid: Xavi's side hold out for three points after Ferran Torres' strike late into the first half extends the lead at the top of the LaLiga table to 11 points as the visitors are beaten for the first time in 14 league games

Barcelona picked up their first win in three LaLiga matches against Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp to extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.

Former Manchester City winger Ferran Torres opened the scoring for the hosts 44 in after receiving a cutback from Raphinha and calmly dispatching a well placed effort from the edge of the area past Jan Oblak into the far corner of the Atletico net.

Both sides had opportunities to add to the scoring in the second half, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen's heroics in goal for Barcelona inflicted a first loss in 14 league games for Atletico.
