Aymeric Laporte is on the verge of completing his £57million Manchester City move with the defender set to have his medical on Monday, according to reports in Spain.
The centre-back was left out of Athletic Bilbao's squad against Eibar in La Liga on Friday night with City closing in on their club-record deal.
And according to El Correo, a newspaper in Bilbao, City will pay the £57m for Laporte on Monday, the same day as his medical.
The 23-year-old centre-back has been a virtual ever-present for Athletic this season and on Thursday was originally named in Jose Angel Ziganda's 20-man squad for the La Liga clash with Eibar.
