Samir Nasri has hailed Arsene Wenger as a 'role model' and said the Arsenal manager is the reason he signed for the north London club.
Nasri, currently on loan at Sevilla from Manchester City, spent three years at Arsenal and scored 18 times in 86 appearances in the Premier League.
Wenger signed Nasri from Marseille for £12million in 2008 and the 29-year-old has spoken about why he made the move to England.
'Arsenal were a team I already really liked because Arsene Wenger was their manager and there were always a lot of French players,' Nasri told UEFA.
