Man City and Arsenal are set to fight for 18-year-old Norwegian wonderkid, Sverre Nypan, according to multiple reports.
The midfielder, who plays for Rosenborg in the Norwegian first division, is thought to have landed in Manchester on Friday night to negotiate with City, who will try to convince him of their project.
He is currently weighing up his options, with interest from several top European clubs lingering.
City's deal may include a potential loan move to sister club Girona in LaLiga, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Spanish side joined City Football Group in 2017 upon a purchase of a 47 per cent stake in the club and often work in tandem with City, who are the flagship football club of the company.
