Riyad Mahrez has been in fine form for Manchester City of late, scoring two goals in Wednesday’s 5-2 win over Southampton, which earned him the plaudits from former City centre-back Andy Morrison.
The 30-year-old was inconsistent earlier in the season, but he’s had a hand in six goals in his last six Premier League games and was hailed by Morrison for his “quality” and ability to “rip” defenders “to bits” while being a “pleasure to watch”.




Morrison said of Mahrez on the We’re Not Really Here matchday show: “He’s been an outstanding player over the past few months and been the most predominant to stay in the team.
