Andre Onana held up his hands to the horrific blunder that set Manchester United on course for defeat in a seven-goal spectacular at the Allianz Arena.
United were on top against Bayern Munich when Onana allowed an effort from Manchester City winger Leroy Sane to slip through his grasp.
United’s new £47.2million goalkeeper has now leaked 14 goals in six games since replacing David de Gea, and admitted that it’s not good enough.
‘It's a difficult situation for me, I let the team down. It's because of me we didn't win this game,’ said Onana who insisted on facing the media after United’s Group A defeat.
