Aleksandar Kolarov will be allowed to complete his move to Roma – once Manchester City have wrapped up a deal for Monaco star Benjamin Mendy.
City boss Pep Guardiola has been chasing Mendy all summer and a £50m deal is reportedly close to being finalised.
The left-back's arrival will see Kolarov fall further down the pecking order at the Etihad and he is keen to secure more action elsewhere.
Roma have already made the Serbian an offer and, according to Sky Italia, he will be able to join them once Mendy has signed.
