The LSU women’s basketball team had a great week last week, picking up a road upset win over the No. 22 Georgia Bulldogs Thursday, and came from behind to beat Ole Miss Sunday.
The wins improve LSU to 8-7 overall and 6-3 in SEC play, tying them with Kentucky for fourth place in the SEC.
Thursday’s 60-52 win over Georgia was powered by a 25-11 scoring margin in the fourth quarter. Sophomore guard Tiara Young led LSU in scoring with 17 points off the bench.
Sunday’s win over Ole Miss was a virtual repeat of the two’s meeting on January 4.
