Wisconsin is used to having dominant rushing attacks behind workhorse running backs like Melvin Gordon and Montee Ball in recent years. But now Badgers coach Paul Chryst is preparing for it on the other side of the ball.
During the Big Ten coaches teleconference earlier this week, Chryst noted LSU running back Leonard Fournette as the player Wisconsin must stop ahead of the teams’ season opener Saturday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Chryst called Fournette and LSU “a great football player and the team that’s justifiably ranked in the top five in the country.
