The LSU football team has moved up to No. 4 in the country in both major polls after taking care of business on Saturday against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
The Tigers rode a 34-point second half to a convincing 48-20 victory over the Hilltoppers, and climbed up one spot in the rankings after the Utah Utes were upset by the unranked USC Trojans.
Ohio Stat and Baylor remained at No. 1 and 2 in both polls, respectively, and TCU held on to its No. 3 ranking in the Amway Coaches Poll. Clemson jumped LSU to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 after blowing out Miami 58-0 on the road, the worst loss in school history for the Hurricanes.
