BATON ROUGE -- Will Wade was officially introduced Tuesday as LSU's 22nd men's basketball coach at a press conference held in the middle of the LSU Student Union in front of media, basketball fans and a crowd of LSU students.
Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva made the formal introduction of Wade, who has spent the last two years as the head coach at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Wade spent close to 25 minutes at the podium and delivered a high-energy look at his vision for the LSU program.
