Former LSU football star Tyrann Mathieu has had an interesting football journey, dating back to his days in Baton Rouge.
Mathieu was kicked off the LSU football team just before the start of the 2012 season. He entered the NFL draft early and was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2013 draft.
The adversity didn’t end there for Mathieu, either. In 2013 the Honey Badger tore his left ACL. He tore his right ACL in 2015.
Mathieu was cut by the Cardinals after the 2017 season.
After spending the 2018 season with the Houston Texans, Mathieu signed a three year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
