The longest committed member of the 2020 LSU signing class, QB TJ Finley of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, signed his national letter of intent to play with the home state Tigers today.
Finley, a three-star who ranks 20th amongst Pro Style QB’s, committed to LSU way back in May of 2018, when he was only a sophomore in High School, and has stuck with the Tigers ever since. This despite, and in spite of his relatively lower ranking, fielding offers from Oregon, Alabama, and Auburn among other major programs.
Finley’s main recruiters were Mickey Joseph and Steve Ensminger and he will be an early enrollee, starting practice with LSU in January.
