Tuesday was a great night for the LSU women’s basketball team.
The Tigers (10-1) set a new program record for points scored and beat McNeese 133-49. The 133 points are a new program record and the 89-point margin of victory is also a new school record. The 133 points also is the 8th most points scored by a D1 team against another D1 team.
LSU went on a 47-0 run in the first half and held McNeese scoreless for the entire second quarter. At the half the score was 62-12.
“I told them at the half that we held them scoreless in the second quarter,” Kim Mulkey said.
