Tigers Lose Game Two Against Vanderbilt, 11-2

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Right-hander Jack Leiter limited the Tigers to two runs on three hits Friday night to lead Vanderbilt to an 11-2 win in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

Vanderbilt improved to 22-3 overall and 7-1 in the SEC while LSU fell to 17-10 on the year and 1-7 in conference play.

The teams will meet in the series finale at 2 p.m. CT Sunday. The contest will be telecast on SEC Network+ and broadcast on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.

Letier (7-0) worked six innings, allowing two runs on three hits with three walks and 12 strikeouts, firing 105 total pitches.
