Three-star running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is from Baton Rouge, La., and he has decided to stay home college, committing to LSU in February.
“I chose LSU because it is home,” Edwards-Helaire told GN. “They were the first big-time school that offered me.
“They recognized the talent when they saw it.”
As a Baton Rouge resident, Edwards-Helaire knows about Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium.
“I’ve been looking forward to it since I was young,” he said. “Even when you have the opportunity to stand on the sideline before the game starts as a recruit, the magical roar of the stadium is overwhelming.
