With tackle Jerald Hawkins likely out of action because of an injured ankle, sophomore tackle K.J. Malone might get his first college start. Malone, son of Karl "The Mailman" Malone, former Louisiana Tech basketball star and a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer, played 46 plays vs. Arkansas and had five knockdown blocks. But far beyond Malone, the O-line has to clean up the missed assignments from all of its linemen that has resulted in rough sledding on the ground for running back Leonard Fournette and uncomfortable pass rush pressure on quarterback Brandon Harris.
