The 2021 NFL Draft is slated to take place in Cleveland, Ohio on April 29-May 1, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, college football players are already declaring their intent to jump early to the next level. As of Tuesday, Sept. 29, 36 underclassmen players have already declared for the 2021 NFL Draft and some will not return to college for a fall or spring season. The list of names declared features projected first-round picks in Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons, Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau and Minnesota receiver Rashod Bateman. More players are expected to declare for the NFL Draft this fall and into the spring as more is known about the prospects of a 2020 college football season.
