When the 2020 NFL Draft concluded and LSU football’s Thaddeus Moss hadn’t been selected, I was as surprised as anyone.
I felt like Moss, the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, would go in the middle rounds of the draft.
Moss didn’t put up crazy stats at LSU, catching 47 passes for 570 yards. But he showed NFL potential. Nearly every mock draft had him being selected at some point in the draft.
Unfortunately, Moss’ physical at the combine revealed a fracture in his right foot that required surgery.
As NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero pointed out, Moss wasn’t able to meet with teams and undergo follow up exams.
