TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The LSU men's basketball team cut a nine-point, halftime deficit to one in the second half against the Alabama Crimson Tide but eventually fell, 80-65 in the Coleman Coliseum Tuesday night.

Junior guard Daryl Edwards scored a career-high 21 points. Skylar Mays grabbed nine boards, tying his career-high and Tremont Waters had four assists.
