If you haven’t heard by now, two LSU legends are squaring off tonight in Cincinatti.
Jayden Daniels and his Washington Commanders are taking on Joe Burrow’s Bengals on Monday Night Football. It’s only the third time LSU’s had two different former quarterbacks start against one another, and according to LSU sports information wiz Todd Politz, it hasn’t happened since 1981.
Other @LSUfootball QB’s to start against each other in an @NFL regular-season game: Bert Jones (BAL) vs. David Woodley (MIA) on Dec. 24, 1980, and Sept. 27, 1981. Miami won both, 24-14 and 31-28.
