This is the 25th anniversary SEC championship game – an event, by the way, that the coaches weren’t necessarily happy about – and there have been plenty of memorable games since the initial contest in 1992.

10. Alabama RB Eddie Lacy, 2012
The skinny: Lacy was MVP of what might’ve been the best SEC championship game of them all. He ran for 181 yards and two TDs in the Tide’s 32-28 win, which wasn’t sealed until Georgia came up 5 yards short of the end zone on the final play of the game.
