One of the more intriguing matchups in contrasting styles gets underway Saturday as SEC runner-up LSU takes on the Atlantic 10 champion St. Bonaventure. The ultimate irony to a game like this is if VCU beat the Bonnies last week, would they in this matchup taking on their former coach Will Wade?
LSU went 18-9 and is coming off a tough one-point loss to Alabama in the SEC title game. The Tigers have a potent offense and want to pick up the pace. St. Bonaventure went 16-4, beating VCU last week to take the championship. The Bonnies are one of the slowest teams in the country and only played two non-conference games, so we didn't see them much outside of A-10 play.
