Baton Rouge, La. – LSU soccer announced on Tuesday morning that they will be playing Southern on Friday afternoon. The match will take place at 1 p.m. CT at LSU Soccer Stadium.
LSU was originally scheduled to play Southeastern on Friday, but a change in SELU's conference schedule forced the game to be cancelled. LSU and Southern will meet for the first time since 2005; LSU has won all three games in series history that were played in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
LSU soccer has gone 4-1-1 over its last six contests dating back to the first round of the SEC Tournament in November.
