Baton Rouge, La. – LSU soccer's spring season opener against Southern Miss has been moved to a 3 p.m. CT first kick on Friday (February 19) at LSU Soccer Stadium. The game, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., has been moved up due to the forecast of extremely cold weather Friday evening.
Friday's contest will be the first of nine spring matches that counts towards LSU's record from the fall season. The Tigers went 2-7-2 in the fall and won two of their final three contests at the SEC Tournament including a win over No. 14 Ole Miss to advance to the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
