BRISBANE, Queensland, Australia -- LSU's Ben Simmons broke a tie game with a tip-in with 30 seconds to play, as the LSU men's basketball team defeated Queensland All-Stars, 91-88, early Tuesday morning.
Fellow freshman Antonio Blakeney led the Tigers with 22 points, while Tim Quarterman scored 20 and Simmons finished with 18 points. Keith Hornsby added 10 points, Aaron Epps had nine and Brandon Sampson scored eight.
The Tigers improved to 2-1 on its Tour Down Under.
