LSU (8-5, 1-0 SEC) has beaten Vanderbilt (8-5, 0-1 SEC) in Nashville three-straight times for the first time in school history, and five-straight overall for the first time since 1980-82.
Simmons, a National Player of the Year candidate, was 10 of 15 from the field and 16 of 19 from the free throw line with 14 rebounds to complete the double double.
