BATON ROUGE - The LSU football teamw as ranked No. 21 by the Associated Press and No. 22 in this week's Amway Coaches Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, as the Tigers head into this weekend's home matchup with Jacksonville State at 6:30 p.m.
LSU dropped its first season-opening game since 2002, falling to Wisconsin 16-14 last Saturday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
Jacksonville State (1-0) is ranked No. 5 in the Football Championship Subdivision Coaches' Poll.
