LSU baseball looked alive tonight as they blew past Grambling State, 10-3.
Grambling starting pitcher Christian Marquez gave the Tigers’ offense the blues for five consecutive innings, but the tide clearly turned once the teams entered the sixth.
“They really outplayed us for five innings,” Mainieri said of the beginning of game. But Grambling’s bullpen crumbled easily, allowing for an explosion on offense.
It was the Beau and Bryce Jordan show, with outfielder Beau Jordan going 3-for-4 and a three run home run out of first baseman Bryce Jordan.
It was LSU’s fifth consecutive game with at least 10 hits.
