The pass-and-catch duo of quarterback Baker Mayfield and wideout Dede Westbrook -- both Heisman Trophy finalists -- get most of the attention, but the running back duo of Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine are just as dangerous. Mixon's 1,183 rushing yards lead the Sooners, and he has eight rushing touchdowns. As for Perine, the third-year junior needs 82 yards to tie Billy Sims' school career rushing record of 4,118 yards. That pair will be challenged against an Auburn defense that ranks 20th in the country, and third in the SEC behind Alabama and LSU.
Westbrook, that is. His play in the Sooners' nine-game win streak has been essential.
