New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks meant business when he made a proclamation earlier this week: "We're going to be the best wide receiver class in the history of football."
Cooks' prognostication might turn out to be true. NFL teams really missed out on the shopping spree if they neglected to select a wide receiver in the 2014 draft. Some teams struck it rich at the position within undrafted free agency, as well.
Cooks (20th overall pick) and Odell Beckham Jr. (12th overall) are just two examples of the superb talent to come from the first-round class of 2014.
