ORLANDO – The No. 19 LSU Tigers fell in overtime, 79-76, to No. 13 Florida State Friday evening in the semi-finals of the AdvoCare Invitational.
Mfiondu Kabengele of Florida State hit a three-pointer with just under one second remaining in overtime to propel the Seminoles to victory.
Four Tigers scored double-digits, led by junior guard Skylar Mays who had 19. Freshman forward Darius Days led the Tigers with six rebounds while freshman guard Ja’vonte Smart dished out eight assists.
Sophomore guard M.J. Walker had a game high 21 points. Senior guard Terrance Mann recorded 12 rebounds while junior guard Trent Forrest led Florida State with 5 assists.
