Coach Ed Orgeron and LSU have gotten off to a fast start on the 2018 recruiting class, as the Tigers picked up a commitment from three-star inside linebacker Damone Clark.
“I felt it was the right time for me to commit to LSU,” Clark told GN. “I’ve been growing up watching LSU play and always dreamed of being a Tiger.”
Clark (6-3, 208), from Baton Rouge (La.) Southern University Lab School, currently is among the top-10 inside linebacker prospects for the class of 2018.
Clark had received offers from Florida, Mississippi State, Miami and Colorado before committing to LSU.
