BATON ROUGE – Residents in Louisiana will now be able to commemorate LSU's 2019 national title in football with the official release of the 2019 LSU National Championship license plate, the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) announced on Monday.
The newest specialty license plate will pay tribute to one of the most dominant seasons in college football history as the Tigers posted a 15-0 mark with seven of their victories coming over teams ranked in the Top 10. Behind the play of Heisman Trophy quarterback Joe Burrow, LSU's national championship season culminated with a 42-25 win over Clemson in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans in the CFP Championship Game.
