Redshirt senior quarterback Myles Brennan is reportedly entering his name in the transfer portal as first reported by Rivals’s Sam Spiegleman.
Brennan signed with LSU in 2017 as a four-star quarterback out of St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. In high school he set Mississippi high school career records for total offense, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.
He played sparingly as a freshman behind Danny Etling and went on to be Joe Burrow’s backup for two seasons, throwing 40 total passes during LSU’s run to a national championship in 2019; Brennan even led LSU on a scoring drive late in the Tigers’s blowout win over Oklahoma in the CFP National Semifinal game.
