Myles Brennan is “doubtful” to play at Florida Saturday, according to Ed Orgeron on the SEC coaches teleconference this morning. Brennan’s injury stems from a hit he took when he lowered his shoulder on a run near the goal line early in the game against Missouri. Brennan played through the injury, but has yet to practice this week.
If Brennan can’t go, one of two true freshman will start against the Gators. Max Johnson and TJ Finley are receiving 50-50 reps in practice right now. An LSU starting quarterback hasn’t missed a start due to injury since Zach Mettenberger in the 2014 Outback Bowl.
